CEO of Mumtalakat visits NBB

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) welcomed His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat) to the Bank’s headquarters for an official visit. 
NBB’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Usman Ahmed and senior NBB representatives met with His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and the delegation from Mumtalakat, taking the esteemed guests on a tour of the premises. The delegation also attended a ceremony to announce the winners of NBB Group’s internal ‘Innovation Challenge’ initiative which serves to promote and encourage a culture of innovation within the Group.  The challenge also provided the Group members with the opportunity to contribute to the Bank’s future digital growth strategy through the submission of creative ideas for new digital products and services. This was followed by a presentation from the NBB team who provided a comprehensive overview of the Bank’s strategy.  During the meeting, the two parties discussed and explored the opportunities for synergy and value creation among the Mumtalakat portfolio companies.
NBB continues to work closely with Mumtalakat and its other shareholders to advance the Kingdom’s banking and finance sector and ensure the sustainable development of the national economy.
