Biolab, the exclusive Biomnis dealer in the Kingdom, recently took part in the DARB summer internship program organized by non-profit organization LoYAC Jordan. 

Taking part in this initiative for the second consecutive year, Biolab offered students a chance to train in its branches across the Kingdom. The aim of this training was to increase the students' marketability within a job market characterized by competitiveness and change, and to empower them stand out within the laboratory science field. 

On this occasion, Dr. Amid Abdelnour, CEO of Biolab, affirmed that the entity's contribution to this program is one that stems from its ongoing aims to be part of efforts that serve the advancement of the community. By training students, Biolab is doing its part to reduce the gap between skilled youth and available jobs on the market, a goal it achieves by graduating from its internship program highly marketable and employable cadres.   

Dr. Amid Abdelnour ended his talks by stating that Biolab offers job opportunities to distinguished students enrolled in the internship program. He further stated that Biolab's contribution to this training is one that clearly reflects the positive outcomes to be reaped through the fruitful alliances of organization sharing a common drive for positive change.  

DARB is a national program that serves students from various governorates nationwide, while allowing them to reinforce their practical skills through a wide range of training opportunities at the Kingdom's leading organizations. The program's scope has been significantly expanded in the year 2012 in cooperation with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, allowing for the participation of a large number of students. 

It is worth noting that this is only one of many contributions Biolab makes to the advancement of the local community, as it places its focus  on youth in particular, believing that they hold the key for a more prosperous future for Jordan. Last year, Biolab trained six students within this program, and after a two month training period it employed the most distinguished in the group. 

It is worth noting that through its extensive network of seven branches and other specialized laboratories. Biolab offers patients, physicians, and hospitals cutting-edge medical services and over 700 different medical tests. It is the sole laboratory in the Kingdom that has received the American Joint Commission International “JCI” accreditation as an independent laboratory, along with the European ISO 15189 certificate. It is also certified by Jordan’s Ministry of Health and adopted by the entirety of local banks and insurance companies.
