Al-Markazia donates a car for King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center
AL-Markazia, the exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus and Hino vehicles in Jordan, signed a memorandum of understanding with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation under which Al-Markazia donated a JOD 20,000-car to KHCF as an in-kind donation. The MoU was signed by HRH Princess Dina Mired, KHCF Director General, on behalf of KHCF, and Mr. George Haddad, the General Manager of Al-Markazia, on behalf of Al-Markazia.
On that occasion, HRH Princess Dina Mired, stated: "At King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, we appreciate this philanthropic donation from Al-Markazia. It reflects its deep belief in our noble mission and understanding of its social responsibility as a leading company in the region. The Company is an excellent role model to be emulated by all the other companies."
Commenting on this cooperation, Mr. George Haddad, the General Manager of Al-Markazia, said: "Through its social responsibility programs, Al-Markazia provides support and contributes to the activities and works of NGOs in various fields, which aim to develop and advance the Jordanian society. In this context, we are keen on the continuity of our partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, which stems from our belief in the importance of the role played by the KHCF and KHCC in treating cancer patients in the Kingdom and standing by them to overcome their illness and continue their lives with hope and joy."
During the signing ceremony, ways of further cooperation between Al-Markazia and KHCF were discussed, and the company was briefed on the status of cancer care in Jordan and the region, including the treatment, prevention and awareness services provided by KHCF and KHCC.
