Al-Futtaim Motors celebrates the nation’s ideals with raising of UAE flag

Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Toyota Material Handling Equipment in the UAE, celebrated today the UAE Flag Day, in commemoration of the day Sheikh Khalifa was sworn in as President of the UAE.

The celebration took place at the Al-Futtaim Motors head office in Dubai Festival City, where a large UAE flag was raised for the occasion.

Commenting on the celebration, Yousuf Ali Al Raeesi, General Manager, Government Relations, Health Security, Safety and Environment at Al-Futtaim Motors said: “This year, Flag Day takes on a very important meaning to all the residents of the UAE, nationals and non-nationals alike, as we remember the sacrifices of many Emirati heroes over the past few months. We celebrate their spirit and reaffirm our allegiance to the nation.”

“This year marks sixty years since the formation of Al-Futtaim Motors, and throughout our history, we have spared no effort in moving the nation to reach its greatest achievements, as the late father of the nation, Sheikh Zayed, had planned,” concluded Al Raeesi.
