(MEBG) – The National Bank of Abu Dhabi has won the Euromoney award as the best domestic bank in the UAE.
The announcement was made by the London-based Euromoney magazine, in its July issue. The magazine credited NBAD for maintaining its strong private and corporate business sectors as well as showing an increased market share in the consumer-lending department.
The bank was also praised for its branch network and its significant 14 percent market share in customer deposits.
Responding to the good news, NBAD’s chief executive, Michael Tomain, noted "our goal is to put customers at the heart of business and we are thrilled that Euromoney has recognized our achievements."
