ALBAWABA - The term "Microslop" has taken over social media due to Microsoft's relentless push of its AI companion Copilot in Windows 11.

According to a report by Windows Latest, Microsoft tried fighting back against its community by blocking them from spamming the viral term in its official Microsoft Copilot Discord server. However, when a trillion-dollar company attempts to censor its community, things tend to backfire.

Windows Latest posted on X (formerly Twitter), "Microsoft is tired of 'Microslop,' and it's now blocking 'Microslop' comments in Copilot's official Discord server."

The report states that the word was actively getting filtered in the Discord server. Windows Latest shared an update on March 2 stating that the "server is now locked, history is now hidden."

Microsoft controls its own server, but it can’t silence criticism across the rest of the internet.

The viral term slipped from the Discord server and has now flooded several social media platforms. An X user wrote, "You're not going to win this one Microslop." Popular YouTuber The Act Man also provoked Microsoft by spamming the word tens of times.
