India's largest private domestic airline Jet Airways is the newest customer to select revenue accounting and frequent flyer solutions from Mercator, the Dubai-based Emirates Group IT division.

Jet is acquiring Mercator's RAPID revenue accounting system, which takes flight data from air tickets and extracts the crucial financial and strategic details. Benefits for Jet Airways include increased revenue, better productivity, greatly reduced accounting costs and streamlined processes.

The system will also offer Jet timely information, improving its strategic planning and tactical reaction.

Jet Airways has been flying scheduled passenger and cargo services for more than 10 years, serving more than 40 cities throughout the Indian subcontinent. More than six million people traveled on its modern fleet of 40 Boeing and ATR aircraft last year. — (menareport.com)
