(MEBG) A Gulf regional body is carrying out a feasibility study on a proposal to build a gas network linking Gulf states at a cost of up to $2 billion, reported Gulf Daily News on July 26. According to the report the gas project will be implemented in co-operation with the private.
The GCC gas grid, proposed by Goic in the mid-1990s, aims to transport Qatars North Field gas in the first stage to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. In its second phase, the pipeline would be extended to other Gulf Arab states.
