Over the past year, technicians and investors have been captivated by large language models (LLMs), which are AI-driven technologies.

Apple has an internal AI foundation called "Ajax" and a small team of engineers has developed a conversational robot, dubbed by some as "Apple GPT," according to the report.

Access to the chatbot is limited within Apple, and some employees believe the company aims to unveil its AI-powered product next year, as per the report.

Apple extensively employs machine learning in its products, from speech recognition in Siri to the Photos app's ability to identify faces and pets.
