ALBAWABA - According to the company's business results released on Sunday, October 8th, Almarai's net profits reached 486.2 million Saudi Riyals, compared to 463.1 million Saudi Riyals during the same period of the previous year.
On the other hand, the company's net profits decreased by 12.7% on a quarterly basis, with Almarai attributing this to seasonal changes in consumption patterns and increased consumption during the second quarter in the month of Ramadan.
Additionally, revenues increased by less than 1% to 4.79 billion Saudi Riyals.
The company achieved operational profits of 643.9 million Saudi Riyals, representing an 11.2% increase.
The company stated in its statement on the Saudi stock exchange that the current quarter witnessed continued stability in commodity costs, despite remaining high compared to previous periods (especially the cost of corn, soybeans, and clover).
