Blood donation drive at Dubai Islamic Bank
Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) recently held a blood donation drive as part of its ongoing initiative to engage employees with noble activities that can impact the lives of thousands of people. The blood donation drive was organised in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Blood Donation Center. DIB’s staff queued outside the mobile donation unit which was located for the day outside the bank’s headquarters in Deira, Dubai.
Salah Al Hashimi, Head of Corporate Communications at DIB, said: “DIB is committed to supporting initiatives which better the lives of people in the UAE. Blood donation is one of the simplest ways we can help, but also one of the most valuable. We are proud that so many of our staff chose to take part in the donation drive and we look forward to hosting the blood bank at our HQ again in the near future.”
