An Algerian newspaper has recently quoted Abdul Rahman Subir, the bodyguard of the deposed Tunisian president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, who broke his silence, and revealed through Facebook that Leila Trabelsi, the wife of Ben Ali, was actually an agent of the Israeli intelligence agency the "Mossad" and was behind the assassinations of senior Palestinian figures.
The newspaper said Subir revealed secrets of Muhammad al Arab Mahjoubi who served as the Secretary of State at the Tunisian Ministry of Interior in 1990. He said that "Ben Ali and Leila Trabelsi were involved with the Israeli entity, and that they were puppets of the" Mossad." According to him, the couple was involved in the targeted assassinations of Palestinian leaders in Tunisia.
Subir also revealed serious facts about the former regime of Ben Ali, over its criminal acts which led to charges against the ousted president, his wife and other former major security leaders.
The paper added that "Leila Ben Ali recruited two Tunisian intelligence agents in 1991 in order to assassinate a leading businessman, who was a close friend of Ben Ali, because he strongly opposed their marriage."
Subir also revealed new information about the presence of other treasures found in Carthage Palace. According to him, these "treasures" are bigger than those found previously.
