"Killer tycoon" escapes Egypt prison

According to media reports, Egyptian tycoon Hisham Talat, and the former state security officer Mohsen Sukari who were involved in the murder of Lebanese singer Suzanne Tamim have been able to escape from the Egyptian prison. The reports, which could not be verified, indicated that the two used the chaos erupted in and around the prison to escape. One report claimed Talat family bribed the security guards in order to allow the escape. 

Eyewitnesses said Talat sister's waited for him in front of the prison in a luxury car, surrounded by about 6-Class SUV carrying guards armed with machine guns. They fired in the air during the escape. Talat was heading to London or Malaysia or Dubai. 

Reports in the press before the recent events in Egypt said the prison cell of Talaat Mustafa, was like "a five-star hotel," with a newly built bathroom in his cell. He also enjoyed a number of telephone lines, and was allowed to move freely around the prison compound. 

Note that Talaat Mustafa was one of the largest Egyptian businessmen in Egypt in the field of construction.

He was married several times. The first wife Haweida was working in the media. They have three sons – Omar, Mohammed amd Hani. The second wife was Hala al Gawhari. The third wife was now retired actress Nora Bossi.
