The new Syrian television drama “Zaman Al Barghouth” will witness the return of Syrian actress Marah Jaber to the old and traditional Syrian drama after an absence of more than 20 years. The new drama is written by Mohammad Al Zayed, directed by Ahmad Ibrahim Ahmad and produced by the company ‘Qabnas’.
In the drama, Marah plays the role of “Deebah” who is a matchmaker that tries to find the right man for the women of her neighborhood to marry. She also takes on the role a social worker who tries to solve problems faced by women.
The drama is not the only project Marah will star in this year for she will be taking part in the new drama “Al Infijar” (The explosion) that was postponed from last year.
