Egyptian director Khaled Yousif has announced that recent circulating rumors of his intent to marry Saudi artist Shalimar Sharbatli are true.
Khaled said that he had gone to Saudi Arabia a few days ago and held a grand wedding ceremony at one of the prestigious hotels in Jeddah in the presence of family, friends, VIPs and the media.
The director has refused the details of the steps that led to his marriage stressing that it is a private matter. It was said that the bride’s family had at first refused strongly the union, especially since Khaled’s movies are considered to be provocative.
