Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz prefers to sign for Bayern Munich instead of the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City, according to Sky Sport.

The Germany international is expected to leave the Bundesliga champions at the end of the season, amid interest from several big European clubs.

Bayern appear to be leading the race for the 21-year-old, who is also being closely monitored by Real and City.

Wirtz would prefer to sign for the Bavarian giants instead of moving abroad as it seems.

He may end up costing up to €150 million, which Leverkusen is said to be holding out for.

The attacking midfielder's current deal is set to expire in 2027.
