Barcelona secured the Copa del Rey title with an exhilarating 3-2 victory over Real Madrid in the final, held at the "La Cartuja" stadium in Seville.

Financial Benefits of Winning the Copa del Rey

The victory not only brought Barcelona the coveted trophy but also significant financial gains, especially amidst the club's current economic challenges.

Prize Money Breakdown

According to a report by "Marca," the winner of the Copa del Rey will receive a financial reward of approximately €1.2 million. This amount includes prizes for advancing through the various stages and the final win.

Ticket Revenues Boost Earnings

In addition to the prize money, Barcelona will also benefit from the revenue generated by ticket sales for the final. The "La Cartuja" stadium hosted over 50,000 spectators, with ticket prices ranging from €72 to €270. After deducting organizational costs, net revenues are divided equally between Barcelona and Real Madrid, with a portion also allocated to the Spanish Football Federation.

Estimates suggest that Barcelona could earn an additional €1 million from ticket sales, meaning the club stands to earn over €2 million from their Copa del Rey triumph.

Qualification for the Spanish Super Cup and Additional Earnings

The victory also guarantees Barcelona a direct spot in next season's Spanish Super Cup, a competition that offers additional revenue ranging from €6 to €8 million.

Domestic Treble in Sight

With this achievement, Barcelona strengthens its hopes of completing a domestic treble, simultaneously boosting its financial standing and fulfilling its sporting objectives.
