Victor Osimhen's agent has denied suggestions the Napoli striker is nearing a switch to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli this summer.

Recent reports claimed Napoli were close to agreeing a €65 million deal with the SPL side.

However, agent Roberto Calenda took to X, and revealed that his agent still has a lot to do in Europe.

He said, as quoted by Goal: "Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction.

"He made history and when there were major offers (also this year) we always accepted the club's decisions."

He added: "As I said, it is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets. Victor was elected African footballer of the year, eighth at the Ballon d'Or, he still has so much to do in Europe. There is need for respect and balance."

These comments leave the door open for a move to Chelsea in the comind days.

Osimhen is tied to Napoli until the summer of 2026.
