Tunisia had presented its candidacy for hosting the senior men's Africa Cup of Nations (Afrobasket-2017) after the withdrawal of Angola due to the general elections scheduled for next August in the country, said Tunisian Basketball Federation (FTBB) President Ali Benzarti to TAP.
The latter added that the country hosting the continental tournament will be known this Thursday, after the reception by FIBA-Africa of the official response of the Angolan Basketball Federation.
