Young Egyptian squash star Nour El Sherbini won the PSA Women's World Championship title on Saturday after beating World NO.1 Laura Massaro of England in the final.
The World No.2, Nour, lost the two first sets 6/11, 4/11 before taking full control of the game, winning the other three sets 11/3, 11/5 and 11/8 to become the first Egyptian ever to win the prestigious title.
The 20-year-old El Sherbini came from behind to win the exciting match to become the youngest ever player to win the World Championship trophy.
El Sherbini represented Egypt alongside two fellow citizens Raneem El Welily and Nouran Gohar in the semis before reaching the final to play against Massaro.
Earlier on March, El Sherbini defeated compatriot Nouran Gohar in an all-Egyptian final to give the country its first British Open title for women.
