Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad is reportedly interested in buying a stake in West Ham United.
The Qatari royal withdrew his bid to buy Manchester United last month. However, he is still keen on investing in a Premier League side.
The Times revealed that Sheikh Jassim was alerted over the Gold family's intention to sell part of their stake in the London-based club.
Vanessa Gold, the daughter of West Ham's late joint-chairman David Gold put a 10 per cent stake up for sale.
The Gold family holds a 25 per cent shareholding and it is believed that they are willing to sell up if a suitable offer were to come their way.
