Il Messaggero revealed that AS Roma are keen on bringing in Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The German manager announced on Friday he will leave the Reds at the end of the season.

The Friedkin group which owns the Italian club recently sacked Jose Mourinho and are considering Klopp as a possible long-term replacement.

Daniele De Rossi is Roma's current manager, and the former team star has signed a deal until June.

Several coaches are being considered for next season, and Klopp is believed to be the club's main target.

The Giallorossi realize that reaching an agreement with the German will cost a hefty sum, amid competition for his signature from other interested sides.
