Real Madrid are pondering a move for Manchester City star midfielder Rodri, according to Spanish outlet AS.

The Madrid-based giants consider Rodri as the ideal replacement for Toni Kroos, who is set to retire after Euro 2024 this summer.

The Spaniard was instrumental in Manchester City's Premier League title win this season.

Real president Florentino Perez is dreaming of bringing the 27-year-old to the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming weeks.

However, City are unlikely to even consider allowing their star man to leave.

Rodri's deal with the English club runs until the summer of 2027.
