Sir Jim Ratcliffe hopes to convince Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag to settle matters with 'outcast' Jadon Sancho.

Ratcliffe is set to buy 25 percent of the Glazer family's shares and is planning to conivince ten Hag of giving the winger another chance.

The Daily Star revealed the businessman is set to hold talks with United's boss to discuss several matters.

He is also keen on bringing Sancho back into the team after being exiled by the manager following a bust-up between the two.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger has been linked with Juventus and a possible move to the Saudi Pro League in January.

Manchester United have had a poor season thus far as they succumbed to eight defeats in 18 matches across all competitions.
