Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United, bringing him one step closer to a summer switch to the Premier League.
Currently on loan from Napoli, Osimhen’s contract includes a €70 million release clause, making him an attainable target for clubs looking to bolster their attack. United appear to be leading the race, with a clear intent to finalize a deal ahead of next season.
Personal terms agreed — club-to-club deal pending
According to Turkish journalist Serdar Ali Celikler, speaking on NEO Spor, the Nigerian international has reached a personal agreement with United. However, no official deal has been struck yet between Manchester United and Napoli, who still hold the player’s registration.
Napoli may be willing to negotiate
Despite the release clause, reports from England suggest that Napoli could accept a lower fee — potentially in the range of £25–30 million with Osimhen’s contract set to expire in just over a year. A reduced fee could help the Italian club avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2026.
Osimhen has been on fire this season with Galatasaray, scoring 29 goals in 34 appearances, including 21 in the Turkish Super Lig. His form has caught the attention of several top clubs, but United are believed to be the most serious contenders at this stage.
