Chairman of the Oman Football Association, Salim bin Said Al Wahaibi has won membership at the executive office of the Asian Football Confederation as a representative of West Asia.
According to the Oman Football Association, Al Wahabi's received, " The highest number of votes with 39 votes out of a total 46," at the AFC Executive Committee 2019-2023.
The election took place today, Saturday, April 6, at the 29th Asian Football congress meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
