Frenchman Thierry Henry has been dubbed as best footballer in the US by his team New York Red Bull boss Hans Backe , after another thrilling performance for York in their 4-1 thrashing of Toronto.
The former Gunners hit man scored one and had a hand in three other goals in Red Bull's emphatic win.
The striker has now scored 14 goals in 21 starts this term, adding another 12 assists for the Red Bulls "Thierry was phenomenal. He set up every goal except his own," the Sun quoted Backe, as saying.
"When he shines like this, you could say he's the best player in the league," he added. (ANI)
