Newcastle United chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan has put an end to speculation regarding Alexander Isak’s future, making it clear that the Swedish striker will not be sold this summer under any circumstances.

According to The Daily Mail, Newcastle’s Saudi owners view Isak as a cornerstone of the club’s long-term project and plan to build the team around him. This stance has been further reinforced by the club’s recent Carabao Cup triumph, which has heightened ambitions for future success.

Newcastle is set for significant investment in the summer transfer window to strengthen the squad, but retaining Isak remains the top priority. Al-Rumayyan has reportedly made it clear to the club’s board that no offers for the striker should be entertained.

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) chief was present at Wembley to witness Newcastle’s cup victory, during which Isak found the net, further solidifying his importance to the team.

Despite strong interest from Barcelona and Arsenal, Isak remains under contract with Newcastle until 2028, making any potential transfer highly unlikely as the club remains firm on keeping its star forward.
