Paris Saint-Germain have submitted a formal offer to sign Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

However, the bid is reportedly not even close to what the Italian club is asking for.

Therefore, the Partenopei is set to continue negotiations with the Georgia international over a contract extension.

Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli confirmed receiving an offer for his client from the French giants.

Italian outlets reported that the offer was close to €80 million, before claiming that the bid was even lower, at around €60m.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport says that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis didn’t even take PSG’s offer seriously, and will only consider selling the 23-year-old for twice as much.

The Georgian earns €1.5 per season and reportedly wants €5m-a-year salary plus add-ons if he were to agree a new deal.
