McDonald`s Corp. signed up to extend its sponsorship of the Qatar World Cup 2022 on Thursday.
The fast food giant is looking forward to Qatar 2022 so early, shrugging off doubts whether the World Cup tournament will be held in Qatar or another country, being delayed or not.
McDonald`s will chiefly be the sponsor of the child mascots; the ones that accompany the football players onto the field before each match of the World Cup.
Coca-Cola, Visa, Adidas and Sony are also among the major sponsors of the World Cup tournament. Same as McDonald’s, these giant firms are concerned over timing and place of the next World Cup event.
The Federal International Football Association (FIFA) still hasn`t revealed if Qatar will be officially hosting the World Cup due to the past accusations of bribe and the hot weather of the country.
However, Qatar promised to install upgraded high-tech cooling technology in its stadiums.

The hosting of World Cup 2022 will boost Qatar’s attractiveness and allow it to further magnetize foreign investments.
