Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said his team is not inferior to Manchester United .
The comments by Mancini came despite a 3-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday giving their rivals the chance to secure their 20th league title with four games to spare.
According to news24, Mancini said that it is over, it was over three of four weeks ago, after Tottenham hit back with three goals in seven minutes.
He said that but the United are not better than them, adding that they deserved to win the title because they lost a lot of points in games they did not deserve to lose but United have scored more goals.
He added that they wanted to win the championship but did not.
Asked if United's players had shown a better attitude throughout the season, Mancini did not disagree. (ANI)
