New Manchester United signing Sofyan Amrabat has apparently arrived from Fiorentina carrying an injury, as per The Athletic.

The Morocco international moved to United on a year-long loan from the Viola with the option to buy.

However, his debut with the Red Devils might be delayed as he has arrived carrying a minor back strain.

The Athletic revealed that United spied the injury during the 27-year-old's medical, but it had no effect on their negotiations with the Italians.

United boss Erik ten Hag believes Amrabat will be the key to solving the team's defensive midfield struggles.
