Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has reportedly agreed to a new deal worth at least 25 million pounds that will keep the him at Eastlands for another five years, the club has confirmed.

"Manchester City Football Club today are pleased to announce that a new contract has been agreed with manager Roberto Mancini," Sport24 quoted the club, as saying, in a statement.

"The deal, which runs until the summer of 2017, follows the club's most successful season in more than four decades, which concluded in the most dramatic of circumstances in the team's thrilling 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers in May this year," the club added.

The new figure is believed to take Mancini past Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson in the Premier League managers' wage table. (ANI)
