Manchester United are determined to bring in Paris Saint-Germain's midfielder Manuel Ugarte this transfer window.

The Uruguay international is eager to make the switch, but the Red Devils and PSG are still negotiating the financial aspects of the deal.

Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg says that United have already made several verbal offers for the 23-year-old, but all have been lower than PSG's demands.

The Ligue 1 champions want at least €70 million for Ugarte, who they initially signed from Sporting CP for €60m in 2023.

The Uruguayan's contract at the Parc des Princes is valid until 2028.
