Manchester United are set to compete with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for the services of Bayer Leverkusen winger Jeremie Frimpong.

Fabrizio Romano revealed that the 23-year-old is being linked with a move away from the German club.

The Netherlands international has a release clause of €40 million in his deal that expires in the summer of 2028.

However, Leverkusen are determined to keep hold of Frimpong who has 12 goals and 11 assists in 37 matches across all competitions thus far this term.
