Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has shut down speculation regarding Kevin De Bruyne's proposed move to Saudi Arabia.

The Spaniard is "95 per cent" sure there will be no changes to his team for the new season.

The Belgium international has been linked with a switch to the Saudi Pro League for some time now.

De Bruyne, whose deal with City expires next year, admitted earlier that a lucrative offer from the Saudis may tempt him to make the switch.

However, Guardiola is confident that the attacking midfielder will not be leaving the Premier League champions.

"Kevin isn’t leaving," the Spanish boss said, as quoted by Goal.

"If someone leaves, we are going to talk about that and, of course, until the last day we have chances. I don’t rule out new players as an option, but I think there is an 85, 90, 95% chance we will have the same squad."
