Al-Ahli star midfielder Gabri Veiga is reportedly wanted by Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old moved to the Saudi Pro League from Celta Vigo for €30 million in 2023, and is approaching the final 18 months of his three year deal.

ED says the young Spaniard is on the radar of City and Real, and could potentially return to Europe if next season.

Although Veiga has become a regular starter at Al-Ahli after a difficult start, with four goals and one assist in 19 appearances this season, he might be leaving the Jeddah-based club in the summer.

He spoke to Radio Galega about his move to Saudi Arabia, and admitted, “From the first moment, that feeling of homesickness will be there, and until the last day. You never know about the future; you have to focus on the present and take it day by day.”
