Former Liverpool star Luis Suarez was very pleased for Darwin Nunez after scoring a match winning goal against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Uruguayan's goal gave the Reds a much-needed win that kept them on top of the Premier League.

Suarez himself scored twice in Inter Miami's MLS 5-0 win over Orlando City.

The 37-year-old spoke about his countryman afterwards and said, as quoted by Tribal Football: "Yes, I saw!

"I saw and I am so happy for Liverpool, I am so happy for him because he is one of the best strikers in the world today."

Darwin has 14 goals and 11 assists in 38 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions thus far this season.
