Liverpool are eyeing Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim amid their search for a successor to Jurgen Klopp, according to The Mirror.
The Reds sent out their representatives to Lisbon to monitor the Portuguese coach as his team beat Benfica 2-1 in the first leg of the Taca de Liga semi-finals on Thursday.
The 39-year-old led Sporting to the league title once, and the Taca da Liga twice.
Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has also been linked with taking over from Klopp along with Germany national team boss Julian Nagelsmann.
Amorim's deal with Sporting CP runs until the summer of 2026.
