Liverpool's new boss Arne Slot is planning to sign free agent Adrien Rabiot this summer, as reported by The Mirror.

The French star left Juventus earlier after the end of his deal, despite being offered a new contract.

Therefore, Slot is keen on signing Rabiot, regardless of any potential deal for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

The Reds have held talks with the former Juve star this week.

Manchester United have also had their eye on the 29-year-old, who spent five seasons in Serie A.
