The Reds boss Arne Slot is looking for reinforcements ahead of his debut season at Anfield.
Liverpool are set to rival Newcastle United for the signature of Guehi, who has become an important player for England in recent months.
Crystal Palace are demanding £75 million for the 24-year-old.
Guehi's deal with the London-based club expires in 2026.
