Liverpool and Manchester City are lining up bids for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe in January, as per the Telegraph's Luke Edwards.
The France international is believed to be eyeing a move to Real Madrid, but Liverpool and City will be doing their best to hijack the deal.
The two Premier League giants have the necessary funds and may end up bidding for the 24-year-old in the next transfer window.
Mbappe scored eight goals in nine games for Paris Saint-Germain across all competitions so far this season.
His deal at PSG expires in the summer but will be able to negotiate with any interested club starting from January.
