Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal who came through the ranks at La Masia has reportedly decided to represent Spain over Morocco at the senior level.
Spanish outlet Sport claims the 16-year-old who was believed to be keen on wearing the Morocco kit has opted to represent Spain.
The youngster was born in Spain to a Moroccan father and an Equatorial Guinean mother.
However, he spent most of his life in Spain afterwards.
Lamal met Morocco coach Walid Regragui and held meetings with Spain's national team representatives.
It appears that the winger has finally decided on joining La Roja and could be named in their squad for the upcoming games against Georgia and Cyprus.
