Under the slogan, "Sports Beats Cancer", men and women from across Kuwait turned out in droves on Saturday for a marathon sponsored by the Public Authority for Sports (PAS), in conjunction with a team of volunteers.
The marathon kicked off from the Swimming Pool Complex located in the Arabian Gulf Road and coincides with World Cancer Day, which falls on February 4th of each year.
