French star Karim Benzema is reportedly keen on leaving Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad this summer.
The former Real Madrid icon moved to Saudi Arabia last year, but quickly felt discontent due to the 'low level' of competition in the league, as per Relevo.
He told people close to him during a recent trip to Madrid that he regrets making the switch, and is now looking to leave Al-Ittihad.
The Saudi club prefers to keep Benzema until the end of his deal in 2026, but may allow him to depart if they were to receive a huge offer from Europe in the coming weeks.
The 36-year-old scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 29 appearances this season across all competitions.
