Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has reportedly turned down an approach from Barcelona.
The Catalan club is set to appoint Hansi Flick as their first team's new manager, just days after sacking Xavi Hernandez.
Flick previously worked with the right-back at both Bayern and in the German national team.
He has tried to lure his countryman to sign for Barca, however, the Spanish giants' financial struggles caused negotiations to fall through.
Kimmich did not rule out a move to Barcelona, but he is holding out for an improved offer that satisfies his needs.
His deal with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2025.
