Iran's football federation president Ali Kafaschian aims to arrange a friendly with world champions Germany during a visit next week, the ISNA news agency said on Saturday.
The report said that Kafaschian will meet German football supremo Wolfgang Niersbach, with a training camp in Germany and a possible friendly against the national team, or a top Bundesliga club, on the agenda.
The recent nuclear deal and the planned lifting of sanctions could help Iran line up some high-profile matches which coach Carlos Queiroz sees as an important factor in the bid to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
