Iranian sprinter Hassan Taftian won the gold medal in the men's 100m final at the Asian Track and Field Championships in India.
Hassan Taftian clocked 10.25 seconds and claimed the gold medal in the men’s 100m final at the Asian Track and Field Championships, defeating Semi Feun Ogunode of Qatar.
It is the third gold medal of Iran’s Track and Field team in the Asian competitions.
Taftian is the first Iranian who claimed the gold medal in the men’s 100m final at the Asian Track and Field Championships.
