Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi wants to bring Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa back to Italy in the winter transfer market, according to Tuttosport.

The injury-prone star moved to Liverpool in the summer in a €12 million deal from Juventus, but has succumbed to a new setback following his arrival.

He has only 78 minutes of football under his belt for the Reds thus far.

However, Inter are hoping to get the Italy international on loan until the end of the season.

Chiesa missed Liverpool's pre-season and will likely be offloaded in the upcoming transfer market despite signing a four-year deal in August.
