Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has reportedly turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.

RMC’s Fabrice Hawkins revealed that Al-Ittihad were interested in signing the France international following their recent acquisition of Fabinho from the Reds.

However, the 24-year-old rejected the offer as he has no plans to leave Anfield this summer.

Therefore, The Saudi Pro League champions turned their attention to Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo.

Previous reports also linked the Jeddah-based side with Liverpool's Joe Gomez due to his versatility, but they are yet to submit an offer for him.

Al-Ittihad were also eyeing Mohamed Salah but failed to convince the player and his club of accepting their massive bid.
